I create game prototypes by spartanx118

Hi all, I'm a professional game developer. I create prototypes and demos of games of any general.  View A video of some samples here www.facebook.com/video.php?v=8…;

First person shooters, Third person shooters, RPG, Fighting game, Side scroller, Top down shooter, RTS, You name it. All Powered By Unreal Engine 4.

-------------------------------------Details---------------------------------------------------

Pricing:
For now my starting price is $300 for a small project, ranging to $2000 or more for more complex project.., My prices are negotiable and if you need other methods than those Iv'e mentioned (e.g monthly payments) so feel free to discuss it with me. But no projects that will be payed for later on like when the project is realeased. An example of a $300 project would be the side scroller in the video above, this would include your own character (not the blue guy) and environment with some simple building if necessary, This can take up to a month to create, a little bit more in terms of price and time if need other functionality, e.g enemies with A.I, bosses e.t.c. (Note: if you want assets that you will add to your own engine I do that aswell, but otherwise I only work in unreal engine 4 and 3).

Important:
I take 50% down payment before I begging any project.

3D Content Creation:
All 3d character and environment content/assets and animations will be created in 3dsmax and zbrush, at industry standard quality (View samples of my 3d work here (www.facebook.com/media/set/?se…

Concept Art:
You will most likely need to provide your own concept art for you characters and maybe even environment art if you want something extremely specific. I am a 3d artist, I can draw, but I don't too draw much so I can't promise that I will be able to produce concept art that will satisfy you. View samples of my 2d concept art work here ( www.facebook.com/media/set/?se… art may cost extra Depending on Negotiations.

Game play Mechanics
All game play mechanics will be created in unreal engine's highly advance Blueprint system and also programming in c++ if necessary, (please note: I am a proficient with blueprint system but I am still learning c++.

Development Team:
If you need a team especially people who specialize in specific areas like animationrather than a single individual to work on the game

Delivery:
Once Complete the game project can be delivered either as a package game file for quick play or an unreal engine 4 project file for you to edit later on (this will require you to purchase and download unreal engine 4 from epic games. Go here for more details www.unrealengine.com/what-is-u…;

IMPORTANT!!
Selling your game: (You have to pay for the engine from your gross revenue)
When releasing your game, your signing up to pay Epic 5% of gross product revenue from users, regardless of what company collects the revenue. That means: If your game makes $10 on the App Store, Apple may pay you $7, but you'd pay Epic $0.50 (5% of $10). Read this for more details www.unrealengine.com/register

I need a name for the main character of my short post apocolyptic film/video game. Her name is lucy Rei at the moment, but I just realized that the name Lucia Ray is in the movie Cloud Atlas played by Halle Berry. so it doesn't work for me anymore. The first name (Lucy) Is fine, but I want to change the last name.

Marlene Angel is the coolest name I have ever heard for female character in a post apocalyptic world. What names can you guys think of that sound as cool?
Hi , I'm a professional game developer & 3D Artist. I create prototypes, demos and complete games of any general.  View A video of some of my samples here www.facebook.com/video.php?v=8…; and another sample of a game I've been working on for the past 30 days www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9JPOy…;

So what's your poison? First person shooters, Third person shooters, RPG, Fighting game, Side scroller, Top down shooter, RTS, You name it, if you can think of it, I can probably make it. All Powered By Epic Games's latest game engine, The Unreal Engine 4.

-------------------------------------Details, Details--------------------------------------------------

Pricing:
For now my starting price is $400 for a small projects, ranging to $2000 or more for more complex projects. My prices are negotiable but I do take 50% payments before I begging working on any projects. And if you need other methods of payment than those Iv'e mentioned (e.g monthly payments) feel free to discuss it with me. But no projects that will be payed for later on like when the project is released. An example of a $400 project would be the side scroller game in the first sample video above, this would include your own character (not the blue guy), your own environment, and some enemies to kick, This can take up to a month to create, or little more in depending on complexity, and price will increase if more assets are needed, e.g different kinds of enemies with A.I, bosses, cut scenes, weapons sound effects, music e.t.c. (Note: if you want assets that you will add to another game engine I do that aswell, but otherwise I only work in unreal engine 4 and 3.

Important:
I take 50% down payment before I start working on any project.

My Work Flow: (This is how your game will be created)

3D Content Creation:
All 3d character and environment content/assets and animations will be created in 3dsmax and zbrush, at industry standard quality and they will be unique (View samples of my 3d work here on deviant art by visiting my portfolio spartanx118.deviantart.com/gallery or here (www.facebook.com/media/set/?se… )

Concept Art:
If concept art is required, you may need to provide your own concept art for you characters and maybe even environment art if you want something extremely specific. I am a 3d artist, I can draw, but not very well, so I can't promise that I will be able to produce concept art that will satisfy you. View samples of my 2d concept art work here ( www.facebook.com/media/set/?se… Conceptart will cost extra but it may Depend on how we negotiate.

Game play Mechanics
All game play mechanics will be created in unreal engine's highly advance Blueprint system and also programming in c++ if necessary, (please note: I am proficient with blueprint system but I am still learning c++, but blueprint is enough to create any kind of game.

Development Team:
If you need a team especially people who specialize in specific areas like animation rather than a single individual to work on the game, I can help you build a team or You can provide your own team that I will work with. Obviously this will cost more but will likely result in a much better game completed at an earlier time.

Delivery:
Once Complete the game project can be delivered to you either as a packaged executable game file for quick play or as an unreal engine 4 project file for you to edit later on (this will require you to download unreal engine 4 from epic games. Go here for more details www.unrealengine.com/what-is-u…;

IMPORTANT!!
Selling your game: (You have to pay for the engine from your gross revenue)

Nothing in life is free, especially game engines. When releasing your game, if you plan on selling it, after you make the first $3000, you sign up to pay Epic Games 5% of gross product revenue, regardless of what company collects the revenue. That means: If your game makes $10 on the App Store, Apple may pay you $7, but you'd pay Epic $0.50 (5% of $10). Read this for more details www.unrealengine.com/register

And that's it. Thanks for the interest, hope we can proceed to creating some awesome games together.

(I'm not asking for technical help, just asking what would you do) All your life's work is on it, some people would recover the system, other would throw it to the wall like I almost did. What do you do if this happened today?

Hi, my name is Martin Kalimukwa. And this is my tutorial series on creating a Mechanical Combat suit for vfx and animation or even video games.This particular model is going to be used in my short animated sci fi film called I Saw The Sky. In Part One of this tutorial series, were going to learn how to create a concept model of our combat suit, will then use the concept model to create new topology and the final model of the suit in part two. And then move on to rigging texturing and animation in part three. Sorry for the low video quality and sound quality, at the moment I don't have my own office and I'm on a very BAD INTERNET connection. I'm going to upload a high quality version of the video soon. Don't forget you can also become patron and help support my projects and tutorials in order to get more tutorials faster and higher quality videos and sound, but even if you don't the tutorials are absolutely free. Enjoy and don't forget to leave me some feed back as well.

Hi guys, This is a model I'm working on for my short film I Saw The Sky. I'm going to make a free full video tutorial series starting of the battalion character with everything from modeling and texturing all the way to animating it for cg film and maybe even video games.

I think a lot of people like to learn. Do you think making professional tutorials would help with getting more popular? I'm looking to make long industry standard tutorials. Staff like how to creat starcraft marines for CG animiation.

(edited) Say your a pour guy deep in a third world gutter somewhere on earth, and you create for example a massive comic book series using Adobe CS (AdobeCS6 costs a hefty $2600), or simply photoshop, which are completely unaffordable to you, so you get pirated versions. And you choose this because the cheaper ones are still unaffordable and simply wont do the job. Then after your done with the comic you get really famous and finally have some money in your pocket and everybody notices you,.. including Adobe. At this point if your even a little smart you would probably have already purchased a legitimate copy of the software,... or not. But the fact still remains that you started with pirated software which brings me the question.

so what could be the consequences of starting your career with pirated software?
Hello world, my name is Martin. I'm a 3d animator, and all around nice guy. I make animations and video games.  Right now I'm making my own short 3d animated sci fi film that I hope will kick start my career in the cg film industry, And hopefully help out the people who will assist me in some areas as well. I've done all the work myself so far, and I've recently found a voice actress (Narrative) and now I'm looking for someone who can help me with the music, (1 or 2 tracks). I already have something in mind for a first track, it will be in the emotional parts of the animation, it's a today is hopeless but tomorrow will be better kind of track. I'm hoping someone will be able to recreate something very similar, you can listen to here www.youtube.com/watch?v=HV5W5g… the second track will be rock, for action scenes and huge post apocalyptic scifi backdrops, but thats for later.

Here is what the animation is all about. Let me know what you think about it

I believe this animation is going to be big, I'm aiming to get atleast a million views within the first 3-6 months, aswell as open a kick starter and patreon so that people who like the first part can help support the second and the third. And finally I'm going to do I huge advertising campaign at the point of release and that's where all the money I have is going. I can't pay anything more than featuring your name in the credits, but if I do get enough support for the second part of the project we'll definitely be talking more about moeny. But for now this is mainly aimed to people who are will to create and get a little more popular.

Thank you for taking the time. Let me know if your interested or let anyone you know who may want to help know.
